And three kinds of filtering functions offer you better diagnostic images for endodontic and periodontal treatments.   Digital CCD cassette The digital upgrade cassette contains a 32-bit microprocessor, and the CCD sensor is constructed with 1,536 X 64 pixels. Pixel size is 96 micrometer and the total number of displayed pixels is approximately 4,600,000. This cassette converts a film Veraviewpocs Pan to a direct-to-digital panoramic X-Ray machines. The digital cassette need not be replaced at each exposure, and the actual exposure is performed in the conventional way. The digital cassette may also be switched back to a conventional film cassette. Please note: Ceph machines cannot be upgraded to digital.   Auto Focus System Precise patient positioning is critical in order to produce highly diagnostic films.The auto focus system allows the patient to remain in the same static position for every type of exposure from panoramic to linear tomography. With the auto focus system a light sensor measures the correct distance then adjusts and maintains the apparatus arm to the optimum image layer position – no guesswork required. The end result is consistent images with excellent reproducibility.
