Veraviewepocs Linear Tomography

High-speed 8 sec. Pan

Optimum protection for your patient

Veraviewepocs combines speed with protection to produce brilliant, contrast-rich images in just 8.2 seconds exposure time, or half the time taken by conventional panoramic x-ray units.
And the patient and the system operator benefit from the low radiation dose.

Introducing the Veraviewepocs, advanced radiographic capabilities.
The Veraviewepocs is a dental panoramic x-ray unit with extensive special view capabilities including linear tomographic and cephalometric abilities. A crystallization of the most advanced technologies with an auto exposure system and the world’s only auto focus system utilizing the latest and finest technology.

Auto Exposure System

With auto exposure, the radiation that has exited the patient is detected by a sensor. This computerized information is used to finitely control both the x ray tube voltage and current simultaneously in correlation to the speed of the film’s movement. This insures a consistent density for every type of patient from small children to large adults.

Auto Focus System

Precise patient positioning is critical in order to produce highly diagnostic films.
The auto focus system allows the patient to remain in the same static position for every type of exposure from panoramic to linear tomography. With the auto focus system a light sensor measures the correct distance then adjusts and maintains the apparatus arm to the optimum image layer position – no guesswork required.
The end result is consistent images with excellent reproducibility.

Liquid Crystal Display

The illustration in the liquid crystal display makes it easy to determine the area of the image to be radiographed and to set the exposure mode and conditions.
After selecting the area for the linear section image, examining a panorama image (scout film), the code number for the area is then entered into the menu in the display. Patient positioning is the same as for a panorama.

True Linear Tomography

Linear tomography with an exacting image layer, which produces radiographic images with excellent diagnostic detail and definition with minimal distortion. Precise and accurate images are made possible with our unique measurement system. With the inherent exposure area measurement system, three tomograms centered on the selected area can be produced on a single sheet of film. The distance between slices can be set from 2 to 9 millimeters.
4 angles of slices can be selected. 25 areas can be selected and 19 steps of fine adjustments are possible for each area. Great versatility for all types
