Description:
The Freedom Automatic Film Processor is a roller-less automatic film processor that processes all dental films dry-to-dry in 5 ½ minutes.
Using two reaction tanks, the flow of work is smoother with less back up of undeveloped films.Indications:
- Processing of all types of dental film
- Measuring canal working lengths in endodontic procedures
- "Wet" readings in surgical procedures and return of film for archival storage
Advantages:
- No rollers, simple maintenance
- Access to film at all times, unlike roller type processors
- Cycles are controlled via microprocessor for precise and reproducible cycles
- Two tanks for a smoother flow of workloads
- No roller marks on film
- "Refill cycle" automatically fills internal tanks
- "Wet view" where film can be returned for archival quality
- "Endo view" for quicker look at film for determining working length
- Flow restriction to keep rinse water from overwhelming the drain
