Description:

 The Dentaport ZX, new to J. Morita's well-recognized endodontic product line, is a low-speed endodontic handpiece with built-in apex locator. Easy to read, Root ZX-like LCD screen allows the clinician to better visualize the file movement during the instrumentation. Proven Root ZX technology combined with low-speed endodontic handpiece delivers extreme accuracy and reliability.

Indications:

  • Operate as a low speed handpiece to make flares and prepare the upper portion of the canal
  • Shape and clean root canals while monitoring the files position inside the canal
  • Measure the length of the root canal using the apex locator

Overview of features and functions

Dentaport ZX allows the micromotor handpiece to be controlled in a variety of ways. The root canal can be enlarged and prepared with great precision and delicacy.  

  • File Rotation Speed
     9-speed setting from 0 to 400 rpm can be selected.
  • Torque Settings
     There are 11 settings available for the value of the torque that will trigger the Auto Torque Reverse function. The Auto Torque Reverse function can be turned off.
  • Auto Apical Slow Down
     The file automatically slows down as it approaches the apex so that the region near the apical foramen can be treated with a slow gentle rotation. This function can also be turned off.
  • Auto Start and Stop
     The file automatically starts to rotate when it is inserted into a root canal and stops when it is removed.
  • Auto Apical Reverse and Auto Apical Stop
     The file either reverses its rotation or stops when the file tip reaches the apical. When Auto Apical Reverse function is triggered, the interval between stopping and rotation reversing can be set.
  • Auto Torque Reverse
     The file automatically reverses its rotation when the torque load reaches a specified preset value.
  • Adjustable Sound Volume
     Audible signal volume can be adjusted.
  • Tailor-made Handpiece
     Lightweight (70g) and compact (head length 12.5mm) handpiece is designed for enhanced performance.
  • Foot pedal included for optional use
