Lab equipment Casting Ring System The Opti-Ring-System is a easy-to-use casting ring system to optimize accuracy and economy of dental castings.   Universal Use The OPTI-RING-SYSTEM has been developed to meet the high requirements of titanium castings but at the same time it equally offers technical and economical advantages for processing other dental alloys. It can be used for all known casting systems and equipment. In any case, no matter in which form the OPTI-RING-SYSTEM is used, the results keep the same: Higher precission by cost savings up to 60%.

Precision

For accurate dental castings a free and uniform expansion of the investment compound as well as a quick and tension free cooling after casting is very important. This can be achieved by creating an even layer of investment compound surrounding the objects and by reducing the volume of the investment at the same time. The spacers which are part of the OPTI-RING-SYSTEM are positioned accordingly for investing.
A short cooling phase reduces the oxide-layer of conventional dental alloys as well as the alpha-case formation when casting titanium. An abrasive, mechanical removal of these layers is minimalized. Results are more accurate castings.

 

 

Economical

Depending on the size of the cylinder and spacer being used up to 50-60% less investment compound is required.
