Finally the dream of 3 dimensional images for diagnostic examination is available with the 3D Accuitomo. clinical conditions which are difficult to observe with conventional two-dimensional images, such as implants, apical abscesses, TMJ disorders, and impacted teeth, are now available in your clinic.3D Accuitomo has three big advantages compared to a conventional medical CT. First of all, High resolution, which is more than 2 lp/mm. Next, Low x-ray radiation which is at least one thirtieth of conventional CT.

3D Accuitomo Integrated Information System Software

The 3D Accuitomo software’s multiple image processing capabilities readily produce two- or three- dimensional images with a large amount of information.

The slice of the area of interest can be viewed by lining up the X, Y, and Z plane cursors. You can make new slices by freely setting the slice direction and angle. You can also display and view all the slices at 1-millimeter intervals in the X, Y, and Z planes.

 

 

Procedure of Radiograph
 

Limited imaging area, cylindrical shape, is positioned to the region of interest by moving the patient chair laterally, longitudinally and vertically. Small conical X-ray beam is exposed to high-sensitivity Image Intensifier (I.I) with CCD sensor, while C-arm is rotating 360 degrees around the region of interest for 17 seconds. The Digital movie is transmitted to the computer. 3-dimensional images are generated by a reconstruction algorithm and displayed on PC monitor.
